We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and target-driven Sales Advisor to join an established financial services company located in Watford. This telephone-based role will involve creating and building relationships with brokers, identifying new business opportunities, educating your accounts on the company’s products and services, in addition to managing your own extensive sales pipeline.

This is a full time role, working Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm with the amazing potential to earn uncapped bonuses. 

Along with the opportunity to build long term relationships and manage accounts, your key responsibilities will include:
- Using effective questions to establish business mix, behaviours and goals
- Creating and managing a panel of engaged and supportive intermediaries
- Building and executing a contact strategy to maintain effective connections
- Ensuring the intermediary has the correct product information and support them throughout the sales process
- Working alongside colleagues to ensure business objectives are met
- Helping to drive the commercial success of the business

  • Mortgage Advisor

    OTE £40,000-£50,000

    Are you currently working within financial services or mortgages advising customers and are you looking for a new challenge, recommending suitable products based on the customers individual needs?   • Mortgage Underwriter

    You’ll be tasked with ensuring that customer mortgage applications are underwritten efficiently in line with company quality standards.

    Day to Day: Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm

    • Understand and evaluate the risks associated with every application 
    • Obtain all necessary documentation to make accurate and appropriate lending decisions
    • Manually underwrite applications efficiently and effectively
    • Liaise in a professional manner with third parties regarding applications
    • Manage own caseload and underwrite cases in accordance with company policy
    • Keep up to date with and apply current regulatory, legal and compliance practices
    • Continually look at ways to improve underwriting processes and procedures within the company.

    Previous Experience:

    You will have experience in underwriting mortgages, ideally holding a mandate although this is not essential. You will also have a good understanding of FCA regulatory obligations.
