Business Development Executive

£28,000 - £32,000

Uncapped bonuses, OTE circa £40-45K+ plus a full range of benefits

We are seeking highly driven professional relationship builders to join our dynamic team of B2B Business Development Executives, promoting market-leading propositions to potential clients who are either lapsed or give business infrequently to the company. You will spend most of your time on the telephone making contact and developing long-lasting relationships with your accounts. If you are an experienced Account Manager and have a passion to provide the best service to your clients in a telephone-based role, this is an excellent next career move for you.

This is a full-time office-based role, working Monday-Friday 9am-6pm within a friendly team environment and with excellent training provided.

Duties include:

  • Winning and building new business opportunities from a contact database - this involves a small percentage of cold calling but mainly making contact with lapsed or infrequent business users
  • Educating and encouraging clients to use the service on an ongoing basis
  • Ensuring a high-quality service is provided
  • Meeting and exceeding set targets and objectives
  • Maintaining accurate records of activity

This is a relationship development role that requires dedication, ambition and a memorable personality. You will need to be motivated and resilient, plus have a real enthusiasm for developing relationships. You will have a proven track record of winning, building and retaining business relationships through attentive, engaging and outstanding account management. Industry experience is not essential.   • Compliance Officer - Remote Working Part-Time

    Working within this well-established team, you will be supporting the Manager with all aspects of regulatory compliance. This will be a fully remote role, working on a part-time (circa 30 hours per week) basis. The position is an involved and busy generalist role, assisting with implementing the Compliance Monitoring programme. Duties will include:

    • Design and perform regular monitoring and auditing
    • Design and complete audit reports and make recommendations
    • Review and draft company policies against relevant regulation
    • Report on compliance and quality matters, highlighting possible risks, making appropriate recommendations and implementing them
    • Provide, advice, training and support to the senior management team and staff regarding all compliance matters
    • Investigate complaints independently, promptly, fairly and in accordance with company policy and within regulatory guidelines
    • Log and investigate internally generated suspicious activity reports to determine the need to escalate externally
    • Complete third party due diligence checks
    • Log, review and respond to customer data requests
    • Perform regulatory risk assessments to understand risk level, significance, scope and make recommendations for mitigation
    • Perform gap analyses on proposed changes to regulation to identify gaps in policy or process
