Senior Customer Service Call Handler

£20,000 - £23,500

Working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, you will be speaking with customers, investigating payment queries and finding a solution with the customer, including arranging payment schedules. In addition to this, you will be handling more complex cases within the team, including taking legal action when needed. You will be completing forms over the telephone and analysing financial information.

Working as a Senior Customer Service Call Handler you will be responsible for:

  • Contacting customers by telephone and letter
  • Managing your own portfolio of cases
  • Monitoring payments dealing with any queries
  • Handling complex calls to resolution, including instigating legal action
  • Liaising with solicitors regarding more advanced cases
  • Completing forms over the telephone with the customer
  • Dealing with queries from clients and third parties

The role of the Senior Customer Service Call Handler requires previous telephone collections experience, call handling or call centre experience within a similar role. You will possess excellent communication skills and enjoy providing the best solution for customers.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a credit check and full DBS which will be undertaken by the employer at offer stage.
