  We are looking for a Senior Qualified Accountant to join a busy and professional accountancy practice as a Senior/Manager. Are you keen to find a company which offers excellent progression where you can really make a difference to the team and your clients but where work/life balance is as important?

  You will be managing a portfolio of corporate clients, working from the office and carrying out all aspects of accounts work by managing a team.  

  Duties and responsibilities will include:

   

  • Planning jobs and contact clients to remind them when preparation work is due.  

  • Liaising/meeting with the client to consider both their needs and the key areas relating to the assignment.

  • Liaising with the appropriate Tax Manager before the assignment commences to ensure that any tax related matters are known and advising him/her when the assignment will be ready for a tax review.

  • Arranging for the appropriate staff to be available.

  • Preparing the budget and agreeing it and the timing with the client
  • Managing a team of Senior managers / managers 
  • Provide support and ensure job assignments, probationary reviews and appraisals are carried out on time
  • Manage a team of staff, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and on time
  • Attend network events and identify business opportunities for business growth

  We have a new opportunity for someone ambitious and hardworking to join a prestigious accountancy firm based in North West London as an experienced Accountant (50% audit & 50% accounts preparation).

  There is the opportunity to work from home. 

  This position would suit an experienced practice accountant (ACCA or ACA) qualified must have post qualification experience. 
  
  Role and responsibilities:

  • Monthly reviews of clients financial information, including tax calculations
  • Meeting with clients running audits
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and submissions to HMRC
  • Preparation of client’s year end accounts
  • Submission of accounts and tax returns with HMRC and Companies House
  • Resolving client queries and delivering excellent service
