Senior Product Manager - Financial Services

£40,000 - £50,000

The main responsibility in this role is to understand fully all IT solutions used by the business and become a Product Manager/specialist for each, becoming fully conversant with the underlying functionality, capabilities and limitations of the systems. You will facilitate an integration project, ongoing business analysis and development on the key systems by liaising with suppliers. You’ll then be tasked with reviewing and reporting that information to key management, creating solutions to implement your recommendations. You will be working with senior management, with excellent opportunity to progress your career. 

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Systems and product management (80%)
  • Scoping improvements, updates and changes to systems and processes
  • Evaluating options available and detailing those changes
  • Engaging with key stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood by all
  • Liaising with third party software suppliers
  • Project manage agreed solutions
  • User Acceptance Testing of delivered IT solutions
  • Production, review and analysis of management information (MI reporting) to enhance processes and operations (20%)
  • Undertake project and ad-hoc work as per management request

To be successful in this role, you will have strong technical capabilities within a financial services environment, as well as Microsoft Excel. In addition, you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Since you’ll be reviewing processes and ways of working, you will enjoy working in a team to proactively support the company.
