Customer Services Specialist

£24,000 - £27,000

Due to further expansion, we are recruiting for an experienced telephone based Customer Services professional within the banking sector. If you are looking to support customers with a range of queries regarding online accounts, have a patient and approachable manner, as well as having a genuine passion for providing customers with the best service possible, contact us today. This is NOT a call centre role but you will be based in an office and spend the majority of your day speaking with customers over the telephone.

Working hours are 8.30am-5pm or 9am-5.30pm Monday-Friday on a two week rotation.

Role requirements:

Interpersonal skills: Ability to treat each customer as an individual, communicating with confidence, pro-activeness and being comfortable in making decisions is key in this role.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication for all telephone and written (letters, email, secure message) enquiries.

IT Confident: Able to update records, documents and navigate around different systems quickly and efficiently, understanding fraud within banking.

Customer focused: Maintain and develop strong customer service relationships with customers.

Knowledge:

Experience in customer service environment within the banking sector, with an understanding of banking regulations and legislation including Anti-Money Laundering.

    All applicants must have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

     Hours:                     5 days per week, term time only

      (3 days a week 8.15am-1.30pm & 2 days a week 8.15am – 3.45pm)
