Field Service Technician

£30,000 - £36,000
  • Company van + fuel card

Based in NW London, you will be joining an established service team which is continuing to grow, delivering high quality service and being an ambassador to your business customers. You will be required to attend field service calls, diagnose, repair and report on findings on equipment in and around London & the Southeast. You will also recondition and install equipment as part of the daily requirements. Gas or electrical qualifications advantageous but not essential.

Duties include:

  • Attending to service calls, diagnosing, repairing, and reporting on faults
  • Identifying and reporting machine & install conditions and recommendations
  • Checking & commissioning equipment installations
  • Carrying out basic installations of equipment 
  • Preparing and testing ex-rental equipment ready to be supplied
  • Routine maintenance visits to check equipment where required
  • Maintaining van stock control and updating inventory

We are looking for people who have: 

  • Mechanical & electrical experience (Gas Safe preferred but not essential)
  • Good problem solving and diagnostic skills
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Personable and professional
  • Ability to work under own initiative and time management
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good work ethic and enthusiasm with pride in all that they do
  • Drive and integrity

  • Bookkeeper

    We are offering an excellent opportunity for a Bookkeeper seeking a challenging yet rewarding environment. This is an exciting new role that you can make your own.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day finances of the company.

    Your role will include:

    • Maintaining the purchase ledger and sales ledger
    • The ability to extract the income from the property software
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Posting journals (such as payroll)
    • Preparing and reconciling quarterly VAT returns
    • Raising invoices for the intercompany transactions
    • Dealing with completion statements and finance documents
    • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
    • Liaising with external Accountants regarding year end and management accounts
