Working in a busy team environment, you will be a pivotal individual in the smooth running of high profile projects. You will support a variety of teams, ensuring both procurement and operations are managed within strict timeframes

The ideal candidate will embrace a challenge, negotiating with suppliers, supporting project managers and engineers, as well as liaising with accounts. Having a 'can do’ attitude will drive your capabilities to taking ownership of your role. You’ll have ownership in forging strong relationships with key stakeholders and external suppliers, so excellent communication is key.

The Role requirements:

  • Working with Project Managers to project stock and work to deadlines
  • Issuing purchase orders to suppliers, obtaining lead times
  • Updating systems and spreadsheets
  • Liaising with finance, including collating timesheets
  • Negotiating with suppliers with regards to procurement 
  • Co-ordinating deliveries and returns

Previous Experience:

  • Involvement in a project coordinator or administrator role
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Highly computer literate including Word and Excel
  • Supporting engineers or similar
  • Ideally some knowledge of pricing or procurement/purchasing, although not essential
