Receptionist/Administrator - Term-time

£16,000 - £18,000

Term-time position plus 5 days during summer holidays

Working hours: Monday 8.30am-5pm, Tuesday-Thursday 8.30am-4.30pm, Friday 8.30am-3.30pm, some Fridays finishing at 1pm

As Receptionist, you will be an integral part of the administrative team. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, as well as assisting with a range of administrative duties.

Reception Duties

  • Act as the initial point of contact for all enquiries by telephone, including meeting and greeting visitors
  • Processing ID checks and distributing passes to visitors
  • Maintaining a tidy front office and meeting rooms, ensuring health & safety is adhered to
  • To act as one of the Fire Marshals - training will be given


  • Sort and distribute incoming post and deal with all outgoing post
  • Maintain daily and weekly training register sheets
  • Assist with the implementation of administration policies, checking documents for errors, resolving queries and inputting of data 
  • Maintain and update all administrative and information systems and processes, including photocopying and filing, as well as ensuring equipment is stocked
  • Order and maintain stationery requirements, including First Aid supplies are fully stocked and in date
  • Updating the notice board and distributing information both internally and externally
  • Support with administration associated with key events
  • Arrange booking of taxi services
  • Support administration and other operational staff as and when required
  • Undertake petty cash handling duties, including receiving and recording payments, issuing receipts and updating spreadsheets
  • Monitor the invoice inbox

Are you CeMAP qualified or equivalent and do you enjoy advising, underwriting and processing mortgage applications to find the right outcome for the customer?
