Junior Buying Administrator

£25,000 - £28,000

An established, growing company in Elstree are looking for a dynamic and resourceful Co-ordinator to work alongside the design and development team. This is an exciting and varied role, based in an area of rapid growth for the business. You will be supporting with a range of administrative tasks, as well as liaising with clients, suppliers and factories in the UK and overseas, ensuring all projects are completed on time. You will be involved in attending meetings with management and having creative input with product design. 

Within this role duties will include:

  • Supporting the Head of Design in all day to day administrative duties 
  • Attending development meetings with clients, suppliers and manufacturers
  • Liaising with a variety of internal and external contacts including the design team, factories and partners
  • Working with critical path documents and using a variety of systems to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Organising import and export of samples with suppliers
  • Ensuring all parties are updated, dealing with a variety of queries from all parties

The candidate will have:

  • Excellent attention to detail and administration skills
  • A background working within retail, including some understanding of distribution of products
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to attend meetings with senior level contacts
  • Good IT skills - knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word & Powerpoint

In addition, candidates with a knowledge of front end web development such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript & jQuery will also be a strong asset to the team.
