Part-time Bookkeeper

£15,000 - £16,000

This is a part-time role, working Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm. 

We are recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join this friendly office based in Edgware due to continuous business growth. The position is an all round accounting role to trial balance, including transactional work, bank reconciliations and VAT returns.

As an Bookkeeper, you will undertake the following duties:

  • Preparing accounts to trial balance
  • Bank reconciliations (multi currency)
  • Prepared monthly and quarterly VAT returns with good knowledge of tax codes
  • Expense accounting
  • Payroll including pension administration (no experience necessary)

The Individual

  • All round bookkeeping experience to trial balance, including VAT returns and bank reconciliations
  • Experience in using Sage, ideally some knowledge of Xero and Quickbooks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible attitude to work in a team
  • Ability to commit to working the above hours on a permanent basis

There is excellent scope to develop your skills further, including additional training on Xero and Quickbooks, as well as full payroll training given.

  • Mortgage Underwriter

    Are you an experienced Mortgage Underwriter, working within regulated the first and second charge market? Are you CeMAP qualified or equivalent and do you enjoy advising, underwriting and processing mortgage applications to find the right outcome for the customer?     As an Underwriter you will:

    - Ensure clients receive the very best advice possible for their circumstances

    You will have previous mortgage underwriting experience and be part or fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent).
