About the Role
- Hybrid role – 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely

Duties include:
- Underwriting a higher risk profile of mortgage applications
- Managing new applications, incoming post and pre-submission referrals within set service standards
- Proactively managing an assigned pipeline of applications from receipt to completion
- Liaising with a pre-approved panel of Introducers to provide quick, accurate and reliable underwriting decisions
- Providing input to and approval of Credit decisions within own delegated mandate
- Acting as a referral point for other mortgage underwriters within team, and complete coaching and training activities where required
- Adhering to internal policy and regulatory requirements – FCA, PRA, AML, Prevention of Financial Crime, Data Protection
- Make lending decisions in line with Credit Risk Policy and mandate level
- 5 years+ underwriting experience or credit exposure within Buy-to-Let
- Experience working within a regulated environment
- Currently holds a more senior mandate level
- Previous relationship management of introducers or external customers
