About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Finance & Operations to join a dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a growing international business.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the company's financial and operational performance, while also contributing to strategic decision-making and supporting international expansion. This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in a variety of tasks from strategising, managing a finance team, as well as some daily accounting tasks, so a flexible nature is essential.

This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in a variety of tasks from strategising, managing a finance team, as well as some daily accounting tasks, so a flexible nature is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all aspects of financial accounting, including invoicing, receivables management, costings, budgeting, payroll and tax filings
- Preparing management accounts and liaising with auditors
- Ensuring the integrity of financial data and compliance with all relevant regulations
- Enhancing monthly reporting and provide insightful analysis and KPIs to support business decisions, including developing forecasting and budgeting processes further
- Optimising cash flow management, banking relationships, and balance sheet
- Exploring and evaluating potential business growth from a financial perspective
- Advising on optimal capital structure and financing requirements
- Improving cost efficiencies across the business
- Overseeing and leading finance team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment
- Providing strategic and financial guidance on international accounting, assessing and mitigating risks, as well as ensuring tax compliance
You will have:
- In-depth knowledge of Xero accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand and translate financial data into actionable business insights
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and a team player
- Resilience to adapt in a business with changing priorities
